Was the Production Supervisor and Casting Director for a VISA commercial featuring Yao Ming. We had to quickly gather the people, location and all of the production resources together in just four days to make the shoot a success. One of the tasks involved finding a stand-in for Yao-MIng who is seven feet, six inches tall. I think that I, at six feet, came barely up to his underarm... and a stand-in for Jackie Chan... Maggiano's served up the best catered crew lunch that I've ever had on a shoot. It was so good that even the grips were asking who the caterer was..... At any rate, the other parts of the shoot took place in Singapore with Jackie Chan, since he couldn't come to Houston. The finished spot will air internationally.... Producer, Josie Leonard, was the best to work with!
